They connect to wires and plug into one another. Work as designed, good quality, I had no issue coverting multiple RC models over to xt60 connections.

I purchased these for my drone and for the most part it's fine if you plan to solder the connector to a circuit board. I ended up ordering a lipo charger which didn't have an xt60 cable so I used one of these to make my own and that is where I found out the black boots (which give you an area to grab onto the plug) suck. It snaps on fine but it's grip is relatively weak so when you got to disconnect your fully charged lipo the black part pops off instead. That part is quite irritating and if I didn't heat shrink my solder joints could post a safety issue.

I wanted to be able to remove my subwoofer from my car without having exposed wire leads, Neutrik style connectors were too bulky so this was ideal and the fact that they don't melt whilst being soldered is good.

They work little on the cheaper made side but they work
